ABSTRACT

Heuristic evaluation is a popular tool for a preliminary assessment of web page usability. For e-commerce web sites however, more specific techniques are required. In the paper application software for heuristic checklist based on general heuristics created by Nielsen and Molich (with later modifications) and the set of detailed recommendations is presented. The specificity of the application called TECHA (Tool for E-Commerce Heuristic Assessment) originates in its objectoriented structure dedicated for e-commerce web page evaluation.
