ABSTRACT
Reaction injection molding (RIM) has grown in popularity because of its advantages: high ¥exural modulus, light weight, and low tooling costs. The concept of structural RIM sites is Žnding use in such activities as prototyping and identiŽcation of hundreds of parts for both automotive and nonautomotive applications. Parts vary in size up to and including complete pickup truck beds.
