ABSTRACT
The most speciŽc deŽnition of a polyurethane is any polymer with a plurality of carbamate (urethane) linkages. The terms polyurethane and polyisocyanates are general names for the segment of the plastics industry that manufactures use. The name polyurethane is almost universally applied to the Žnal (polymeric) products of that segment of the industry.1
