ABSTRACT
The samples collected represent the free floating and the rooted emergent plant species in running waters. The sampling was conducted during May 2008. More than 71 species from 41 different families were identified. A total of 200 field observations were made. Water pH was determined with a pH meter in the field. The collected water samples were transported to laboratory in clean and sterilized plastic bottles. The plants were also transported in clean plastic bags to the laboratory.
