ABSTRACT

The arsenic (As(V)) and selenium (Se(IV)) model solutions were prepared from KH2AsO4 and Na2SeO3 of analytical quality and distilled water in the concentration about 40 mg/L and pH ≈ 6.4-7.0. The suspension of model solution and sorbent (6 g/L) was shaken in sealed polyethylene bottle at room temperature for 24 h. The product was filtered off; the filtrate was analyzed for residual As concentration and pH value.
