ABSTRACT
The high geometrical precision of spatial objects stored in a Geographical Information System (GIS) is often in disproportion to the attributive accuracy of these spatial objects. Work has been done to identify different sources of error (MacEachren 1985, Burrough 1986, Goodchild and Dubuc 1987, etc.), additional efforts are necessary to deal with the related problems.
