Overcoming Traditional Job Rotation Obstacles In the Design of a Manufacturing Cell

Many manufacturing products are built and packaged in a traditional “build and package” process. Raw materials and other parts are brought into a series of workstations and assembled to form a saleable product. The product is then combined with needed accessories (i.e., instructions and other parts that are installed by the users) followed by packaging, labeling and shipping tasks.
