ABSTRACT
Technology continues to evolve especially since the turn of the 20th century. World War II provided a kick-start in technology development especially as the need to develop arms provided the impetus. Since the war, technology development has been led by entrepreneurial žrms such as Boeing, McDonnell-Douglas, IBM, General Electric, and others.
