ABSTRACT
Due to advances in data acquisition, storage and transfer technologies, data is nowadays dynamically updated all the time. In addition, in many interactive data mining applications, data is often modified repeatedly. Re-generating the corresponding emerging patterns from scratch every time when the underlying data is updated/modified is obviously inefficient. It is more advantageous to incrementally maintain the emerging patterns.
