ABSTRACT
Paraphrasing the title of Bill Bryson’s book, this section makes a quick tour through an amazing century of brachytherapy developments. Rivard et al. (2009) have recently described these marked highlights in a Vision 20/20 paper in Medical Physics Journal (largely followed here) providing the reader with the references recommended for a pleasant further journey of reading.
