ABSTRACT
The role of mining geologist in the mining process is to inter alia gather, process and share information about the deposit to fulfill the needs of the mine. Independently from the complexity of deposit’s structure, the scope of actions undertaken by mining geologists is the same. With the advance of exploitation the increment of information increases with time. To meet the requirements put before the geological department it is necessary to introduce additional IT tool, namely programme for gathering, processing and interpreting the geological information.
