For each of the following scenarios, select the most likely underlying infection. Each option may be used once, more than once or not at all.
1. A 14-year-old boy is brought to the GP with weakness in his left leg. This started 2 days ago and was preceded by a flu-like illness. On examination, the left leg is markedly weaker than the right. There is no evidence of cognitive impairment.
