ABSTRACT
Researchers studying the association between genetic variation and respiratory diseases face both new opportunities and new challenges. Opportunities arise from a wide range of resources offering ready access to the virtual flood of data, including genomic data from an increasingly wide range of organisms. Challenges include learning how to make the most efficient use of these rich, new resources, without being overwhelmed by complexity.
