ABSTRACT
There are several large textbooks which provide comprehensive coverage of tumors of the nervous system (see, for example, Bigner et al., 1998; Burger et al., 1994, 2002; Ironside et al., 2002; Kleihues and Cavenee, 2001 in the Further Reading section). Only a brief introduction to the topic will be given here.
