ABSTRACT
A 50-year-old Chinese man with no past medical history presented to the emergency department with a 2-day history of pain in the left eye. The pain was of sudden onset and associated with chemosis of the affected eye. There was no associated headache, vomiting, fever or any nasal symptoms.
