ABSTRACT
DISCHARGING A PATIENT ON STEROID THERAPY Mrs Potter, a 61-year-old lady, is to be discharged home following an acute admission for a flare of her rheumatoid arthritis. She is to be discharged home on a long course of steroids and, as the medical pre-registration house officer (PRHO), you have been asked to discuss the important aspects of steroid therapy with her.
