KEY Again, the best way to start this station is to ascertain what understanding the ‘patient’ already has, thus enabling you to concentrate on some aspects more than others. Even if the ‘patient’ has good knowledge of a particular aspect, you must still mention it, perhaps by summarizing what you have heard, or the examiner may not give you the mark for addressing that particular point.
