ABSTRACT
Degenerative spine disease itself is not a form of disease or pathological condition. It is part of the natural ageing process which involves the spinal column as a result of wear and tear. It encompasses a wide spectrum of conditions ranging from a mild annular injury to severe degenerative deformities.
