ABSTRACT
This chapter aims to cover both osteo-and inflammatory arthritis of the foot and ankle.
Although patients with these conditions present with different problems, the clinical assessment of a patient with foot and ankle arthritis follows the same principles regardless of the underlying cause. We will initially consider osteoarthritis (OA) and its involvement in the different areas of the foot and ankle, before considering inflammatory arthritis.
