ABSTRACT
Although colorectal cancer remains one of the major killers in developed countries, there are significant advances in risk prediction, screening, surgery, radiotherapy and systemic treatment. This is reflected in improving survival rates, but there is much more to do to overcome the massive mortality still caused by colorectal cancer.
