ABSTRACT
This chapter explores how to widen the person’s support network by involving their family and professional network in care and treatment. We propose a systemic approach1 to care as more holistic, providing a potentially richer resource network to the patient and treatment system, and facilitating more coherence in the planning and delivery of care.
