ABSTRACT
The rapid advancement of technology means that these are now exciting times for laboratory experimental research. Experiments that were not feasible a decade ago are now commonplace, thanks to high-speed, high-resolution cameras and powerful computers, among other things. The result is highquality spatiotemporal data that is on par with the output from large-scale numerical simulations.
