a) Mining Applications – Bench blasting. – Box-cut excavation. – Overburden casting. – Tunneling and Shaft sinking in mines. – Stoping using small & large diameter
drillholes. – Drop Raising using VCR technique. – Dimension Stone excavation
b) Civil Applications – Ground leveling. – Tunneling and Shaft sinking for rail/road. – Storage caverns. – Trenching/Ditching. – Controlled demolition of structures. – Fill settlement (compaction of landfills). – Generation of Armour Stone (Rip-Rap). – Coyote Blasting. – Underwater blasting for increasing draught.
