ABSTRACT
Dental comparison has long been accepted as a reliable means of human identication. However, ocials do not fully understand the range of systems and resources available to assist them in their investigations. Also, they frequently do not have the manpower and/or economic resources to collect the information needed for a forensic odontologist to assist them in missing and unidentied persons’ cases.
