ABSTRACT
Dental identication of a deceased individual is a core task in forensic odontology. Along with determining the manner and cause of death, the medical examiner or coroner (ME/C) has the statutory responsibility and authority to identify the deceased and issue a death certicate. e forensic dentist can provide rapid and economical means of victim identications in this process.
