ABSTRACT
Vibrations caused by blasting have always been a problem in construction projects because of the damage to the surrounding residential and industrial buildings, and the complaints the residents have lodged. This is why blasting operations are designed and performed so as to suit different structures, considering the available standards. The amount of the allowable charge and the suitable relation for the prediction of the Peak Particle Velocity (PPV) are determined based on recorded data.
