ABSTRACT

Field experiments were conducted to evaluate the effects of CharGrow® (CG) on fruiting behavior and marketable fruit yield of mountain-fresh tomato. CG is a biochar (BC)-based amendment that contains bene‹cial soil organisms and microbial foods. In this study, CG served as a bioinoculant for the production of high-quality tomato transplants. Before seeding, CG was thoroughly mixed with potting soil at 2.5% and 5.0% by volume.
