ABSTRACT
Non-Hodgkin’s lymphoma (NHL) is a worldwide health problem. In the United States, approximately 250,000 individuals are afflicted with 56,800 new cases diagnosed annually. Since the early 1970s the incidence of the disease has nearly doubled, although the rate of increase appears to be slowing (1).
