ABSTRACT
Vasculopathy is a term reserved for the process producing vascular damage with mild or no inflammation of the blood vessels. This is different from vasculitis that involves fibrinoid necrosis of the blood vessel and significant inflammation. Vasculopathy is caused by coagulation disorders, metabolic disorders, emboli, and other miscellaneous processes.
