ABSTRACT
Geologicalformationsthathavethecapacitytostoreand allowconveyanceofgroundwaterarecalled“aquifers.”Aquifers consistofpermeableformationsthatmaystorewater.Ingeneral, we identify two major types of aquifers:
1.Free surface (phreatic) aquifers (Figure 8.1) 2.ConŸned aquifers (Figure 8.2).
