ABSTRACT
The European Union’s approach to safety, as enshrined in legislation on machine operation, has been fully transposed into the Polish legal system.
1.2 The meaning of minimum requirements
Minimum requirements are defined as requirements which must be complied with during the operation of technical equipment. Stricter requirements which ensure a higher safety standard are not prohibited, especially where an employer finds them essential for e.g. minimizing losses caused by potential accidents.
