ABSTRACT

The Decree-Law n. º 273/2003 of 29 October 2003, revises the regulations relating to safety and health at work at temporary or mobile construction sites. With this directive comes a document about safety planning in the project and construction phases. The health and safety plan should contain all relevant information and advice on safety and health, which are necessary to reduce the occurrence of accidents and to protect the health of workers. Thus, there should be preventive measures aimed at minimizing the risk in the elaboration tasks and measures to protect collective and individual to use. This study also presents the obligations of the safety coordinator in the project and construction phases.
