ABSTRACT

The chemical physics is the most important fundamental science in the modern natural sciences [1]. The concepts of it explain qualitatively and quantitatively, the mechanisms of various processes, such as the reactions of oxidation, burning, and explosion, obtaining food products and drugs, oil hydrocarbon cracking, polymeric material formation, biochemical reactions underlying metabolism, and genetic information transfer and so on. It comprises notions of the structure, properties, and reactivity of various substances, free radicals as active centers of chain processes proceeding in both mineral and organic nature, the scientific foundations of low-waste and resource saving technologies. The design and wide usage of synthetic polymeric materials is a lead in chemistry. This results in the appearance of new environmental problems due to pollution of the environment with these materials and the wastes of their production and monomer synthesis. The presented results of our studies of the kinetics and mechanism of vinyl monomer polymerization which can proceed in quite various conditions point to their usability in the scientific justification of technological regime optimization of monomer and polymer synthesis, and in solving both local and global environmental problems.
