ABSTRACT

Laboratory investigations are an important part of many forensic cases (Jones and Williams, 2009). Some relevant disciplines are almost entirely laboratory-based – for example, toxicology and DNA technology – but in wildlife work, it is oen necessary to use the laboratory and its facilities in combination with preliminary investigations of the samples carried out in the eld.
