ABSTRACT
Recent breakthroughs in single-atom nanoelectronics, and espe-
cially the experimental realization of single-or few-atom transistors
in both top-down [2, 10, 17, 19] and bottom-up [4] fabricated
structures by several groups, pave the way for integrated circuits
with active single-or few-atom devices.
