ABSTRACT
It is understood by the majority of the world’s population that we live in a rapidly changing environment, but for many, the marine environment and hence changes occurring within it remain hidden. A significant challenge for scientists is to not only monitor these changes but also understand and predict the consequences so that we can both change our behavior and mitigate the impacts.
