2 PURPOSE OF THE COMMUNICATION

Firstly, this paper’s aim is to present the art’s state relative to raw earth as a building material and its presence in contemporary architecture. That’s why the criteria used in authors selection are described, as well as the contents of the several articles published in the Informes de la Construcción Monograph number 523 are analyzed. The intention is to draw conclusions added to the conclusions of each of the authors involved in the publication.
