ABSTRACT
Because beginning with the ancient societies at the dawn of civilization, people lived closer to and consistent with the symbolic, archetypal systems, which are largely dual systems, often antagonistic: the heaven and the earth, the visible and the invisible, the sun and the moon, the good and the evil, right and left, up and down. Man itself is bipolar.
