ABSTRACT
Flexible connection is created by using adhesi ve with low modulus of elasticity applied in several millimeters thickness. Flexible adhesives can be classified as el astomers, which h ave low cross-linking rate and thus the y can be stret ched easily several ti mes t heir unstretched length and they rapidly return to their original dim ensions when t he applied stress i s removed. Two types of flexible adhesives have been select ed to the research program – one-com ponent and two-component polyurethane that are reco mmended to glass-metal connection by their producer.
