ABSTRACT
I. INTRODUCTION Although antimicrobial and antifungal agents are among the most widely prescribed drugs, symptomatic hepatotoxicity remains uncommon and far less frequent than other adverse effects such as gastrointestinal disorders or cutaneous reactions. However, the potential severity of the hepatotoxic reactions to some antibacterial or antifungal agents makes the issue of importance.
