11.1 DAMAGE OF CHROMOSOMES AND DISRUPION OF MITOTIC ACTIVITY IN SEEDLINGS OF CREPIS CAPILLARIS BY ALKYLATING AGENT ANTINEOPLASTIC PREPARATION PHOSPHEMIDUM

11.1.1 INTRODUCTION

In this part of the chapter, we attempt to consider mechanism of origin of rearrangement of chromosome in the different phases of mitotic cycle. The appearance of rearrangements of chromosome is showed under the influence of antineoplastic medicament “phosphemid”—di-(ethylene imid)-pyrimidyl-2-amidophosphoric acid, named mutagen. Seeds Crepis capillaris and fibroblasts of human and mouse were being treated by this mutagen. In seedlings on metaphase plates rearrangements of chromosomes were analyzed. The rearrangements were analyzed at different terms after appearance of seedlings named “arisings”. Also chromosomal rearrangements were examined at anaphases and telophases of fibroblasts.
