Suicide by Cop: Victims from Both Sides of the Badge

Jumping o a bridge or walking o a tall building, ingesting pills, in haling carbon monoxide from a car engine, cutting the wrists, hanging, and other more dramatic methods have been used to self-inict death. A growing phenomenon, estimated to be approximately ten to eleven percent of suicides, is what has come to be termed “suicide by cop” (SBC).
