ABSTRACT
Now that the reader has been introduced to pumps in Chapter 1 and has developed a solid foundation in hydraulic theory related to centrifugal pumps from Chapters 2 and 3, it is time to begin looking at hardware. This chapter devotes itself to a discussion of the mechanical features and applications of the most important types of centrifugal pumps.
