ABSTRACT
Mônica de Souza Zambelli received her BSc in computer engineering in 2003 from the Federal University of Espirito Santo (UFES), Brazil, and her MSc and PhD in electrical engineering in 2006 and 2009 from the State University of Campinas (UNICAMP), Campinas, Brazil. Her research interests are electric energy generation, acting on the following subjects: optimization, dynamic programming, simulation, and operation of hydrothermal systems. Two of her recent publications include “Hydropower scheduling in large scale power systems,” In: InTech. (Org.).
