ABSTRACT

Teaching evaluation in education administration is the core content of teaching quality assurance and supervision system. To scientifically and effectively perform teaching evaluation has significant value and realistic role in explicating educational organizations’ talent cultivation objective and teaching orientation, intensifying educational reformation, and promoting the construction of teachers’ group, as well as the improvement of teaching quality. However, there are still a series of technical issues existing in the teaching evaluation system, such as the method for collecting teaching evaluation data is still simplified and subjective; the actual evaluation methods are lacking of scientific nature and impartiality. All of these issues are closely related with the effectiveness of the teaching valuation system. In this paper, the advantage and ideology of UML will be employed to construct the model for teaching evaluation. On this basis, this paper will further develop the UML-based teaching evaluation system, so as to provide all teaching administrators with a handy, stable, safe and reliable teaching evaluation platform. With this platform, they will be able to conduct impartial evaluation on the quality of education, so as to promptly, effectively, comprehensively and systematically control the teaching progress.
