ABSTRACT

Most studies on the energy saving of convenience stores in Taiwan focus on the energy-saving technology or power consumption of single equipment. Studies on the overall power consumption of convenience stores are limited in the discussion of the annual EUI (electricity consumption per unit area), The composition of the energy consumption of convenience stores should be analyzed and studied in multiple aspects. For the comprehensive in-depth discussion of the energy consumption and equipment application characteristics of convenience stores in Taiwan, this study attempts to achieve the following purposes through fundamental data statistics and real time electricity monitoring: (1) to understand the application status and characteristics of various equipments in convenience stores by using the year-long 24-hour uninterrupted electricity monitoring system to understand the application status and characteristics, (2) to categorize the electric equipments of the convenience stores by application characteristics as a reference for the subsequent development of energy saving strategies.
