ABSTRACT

Field waterflood system, comprised of water injection station, pipe network, water distribution station and injectors, is in charge of injected water boosting, delivery, flow restriction and distribution.Abundant electric power is consumed for system running. According to block diagram of motor/pump units, pipeline, valves, water distribution stations and injectors in waterflood pipe network, simulation technique for waterflood establishes pipe network tree and topology relationship to build up hydraulics computation mathematics model in computer. Based on actual operating data of waterflood system, simulation computation is performed to determine pressure loss of each node point in whole pipe network and system operating efficiency, providing important data for pipe network upgrading and motor/pump parameter optimization.
