ABSTRACT

China’s railway passenger transport market is gradually changing from a seller’s market into a buyer’s one, passengers demand more and more for the passenger transport products, for which the competition in the transport market becomes fierce. To enhance their competitiveness, the railway operators must rely on high-quality service to promote their passenger transport products. And the key to promoting the railway passenger transport products lies on making a good passenger train plan. The passenger train plan is the core of the railway passenger transport organization, which well reflects the business strategies and the quality of service of the railway passenger transport and that is the embodiment of the competition with other modes of transport.
