ABSTRACT

To show a nice picture, computer graphics is very important, and there are varied algorithms to generate graphics speedy. Raster display uses discrete pixels to show graphics while ideal graphics are sequential, so the graphics shown by raster display have serrated edges. The visual effect of these graphics is not good because of these serrated edges, and we call this phenomenon aliasing. Anti-aliasing is necessary to improve visual effect.[1]

Circle and arc are common graphics included in varied pictures, and they need anti-aliasing also. The effect and efficiency of the circle anti-aliasing algorithm are vital. Because of the two-order function of circle, the anti-aliasing algorithm is complex and existing algorithms are not satisfactory.
