ABSTRACT
In this paper, the authors' research work is focused on the analysis of operational data availability with the relation between the costs of data gathering process and the effect of their acquirement for developed DSS for transportation means' maintenance processes performance. Thus, in the Introduction section, transportation means' maintenance processes issues are described. Later, there is literature overview in the research area discussed. In the next Section, the expert system for means of transport maintenance processes performance is investigated. Following this, the necessary data availability analysis is provided. Authors take into account what is the possibility of expert system implementation for real-life systems performance.
